Zootastic!

If you follow my twitter, you probably have seen that I have been to the zoo a week or so ago. And yes, as you probably guessed, with my boyfriend! You see, we don't have that many shared interests, but seeing animals, and learning about them is one of the things we both love doing! So we go to a zoo quite often. We have seen many already, and some of them even multiple times. This time we went to Burgers Zoo, which is in Arnhem. We had to drive for more than an hour, but that's alright as it is zoo you where you can spend the entire day. (Turned out that Justin Bieber was playing at the GelreDom that exact evening. Luckily, when it got really busy, we were on our way home again.)

I'm not going to write about every animal I saw. Or I'm not even going to write that much, I just wanted to share some photo's with you. And for myself, so when I read through my blogs I can look back at it and enjoy it all again.

But what I will tell you, is that the weather was perfect. It wasn't too hot, nor to cold. And because it wasn't too hot, the catlike animals (lions, tigers and so on) where pretty active. They usually lie around in the sun (like cats do) or are hidden. We also didn't have any rain, only on our drive back. But that's not the worst as we were warm and dry in the car.

PS. The tiger isn't dead, he was just sleeping! I have seen his eyes open ;)
