Decorating the Christmas tree | Video

Hello!

It's been an extremely long time since I last wrote a blog. That's 'cause I'm working (internship) 32 hours a week, also have school, had a part-time job at a drugstore and also had my social life. And because all of that, I pretty much chilled every free moment I had, and didn't do much fun things I wanted to write about.

But now it's December, and that means that Santa Claus is coming, and everything will be decorated and cozy. As we also have Sinterklaas here in the Netherlands, which we celebrate December the 5th, my surounding forced me to wait with decorating. But as it has been the 5th, I can decorate now.

Here on my blog I will show you some cute pictures of everything I decorated, but I also made a video on YouTube. There I show you, in a timelapse, how I did it all. Check it out!

I know this picture isn't Christmassy at all, but I loved the sunset and the view so much, that I needed to share this with you!

This is a little star I placed on my door, I forgot to film it, but it is really there! I think it is really Christmassy because it's made out of wood, and because it's a star.

And here he (or she, or it) is! My Christmas tree, decorated and all. It was standing in my room for a few weeks already, waiting to be decorated and now I finally did. I'm so happy with it! The fact that it is now decorated, makes me feel so festive!

I bought those Christmas mugs for my boyfriend and myself at the Christmas show in a garden centre, and let me tell you, drinking tea for a mug like that, with Christmas music on or a film, gives you such a happy feeling. The idea of drinking from it makes me so happy, even before I actually start making the tea.

Also, I like the feather tree, it fits perfectly with my cactuses and my little buddha statuette. It just gives it that extra little bit of festivity.

This is my screen of lights which I bought with the idea of hanging next to my bed. But when it arrived, I figured out pretty fast that it was too big. So now it's placed in front of my window, which gives an amazing look from the inside, but also the outside. If the lights are on, you can see my window from miles away! Hihi.

This is a plaid I already had, but I tought it looked very cute on my bed like this. Besides it being cute, it also keeps me that extra little bit of warmth in the evening that I miss now while it is so cold outside! So I'm really happy with it and I think it was a great idea to place it on my bed like this.

Lastly I hung up a few baubles around my room. Last year I did the same, and I really liked them. Only thing is that I usually am to lazy to get them of after Christmas, so they tend to be room decore the whole year around. Oh well, a little bit of Christmas feeling is never wrong, is it.

I hope you enjoy and please let me know what you about it! This you can do on Twitter and in my Guestbook.
